The worktop installation takes place on average within 1 week from date of template, if the stone required is in stock. Otherwise the installation could be within a 2 week period from date of templating. Prior to templating for the worktop installation, we would require you to totally clear the area in question, that includes all free standing gadgets as kettle, microwave, toaster etc. Also we would need the sink, taps and hob to be removed, to give us the accurate measurements, required for the work top installation. The walls will need to be plastered, but the tiles to be left till after the work top installation has been completed. Should the walls not be sufficiently flat, we recommend up-stands in the same stone to give a truly professional finish to the work top. We can also install splash backs behind the hob and sink, at the same time as the worktop installation, should you require these. Not only can we install these, but we can design these should you wish to have another style to the more usual straight design. If you have a window behind the work top, we suggest your window sill has the same stone, it will give your kitchen a more finished overall look. The worktop installation will usually take about three to five hours, dependant on size and quantity of worktops required. However, we advise you to allow up to 2 days in case of any unforeseen problems.
